The celtic Salmon is a metaphor for knowledge. The Salmon of Life is the patron totem of all researchers, communication facilitators, analysts, and those who speak toward truth and justice. It is thus from true knowledge that heroes are born.

Celtic imagery is largely metaphor. The same can be said for elements within Celtic literature and mythology. Today communities which still contain celtic attributes will be rich in metaphoric sayings and phrases. The Tree is the symbol of life. Celtic communities uphold the tree and are comprised of guardians of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness -- which is yet one more metaphor for the virtue Excellence. And it is the spiral path of Excellence that returns us to the stars.

The Wheel of Knowledge is a spiral path in which the traveler gathers the seeds of wisdom through the acquisition of knowledge, experience, and frequent practice. The goal is to attain the qualities of All-Being through the Pursuit of Excellence.

Celtic Values are at the core of what makes us who we are. Our values are among our highest prized attributes. It is through the living of these values that we are restored to memory.

Dragonflies represent the ancient elemental quality to our connection with the Creative Source. The elemental quality in each of us is a wild card. Like the black swan event, the elemental quality is unexpected and transformative. It is from the Source we gain our "natural rights".
